Kaz Morrow Thailand Wellness Retreat — 11 November to 10 December 2026
Time to indulge
yourself
Yoga · Wellness · Connection · Adventure · Community
A deeply nourishing 30-day adventure for a small group of women, created with an open heart after Kaz experienced this retreat herself and returned home knowing it was meant to be shared.

Welcome to Thailand
30 unforgettable days of wellness, connection, culture & adventure
Step away from the busyness of everyday life and immerse yourself in beautiful Northern Thailand. This retreat has been thoughtfully created for women wanting time to slow down, reconnect with themselves, experience authentic Thai culture, and share meaningful moments with like-minded women.
This is more than a holiday. It is an opportunity to reset, rejuvenate and experience the beauty of simple living, riverside community, wellness practices and soulful travel.
From vibrant local markets and riverside sunsets to yoga, meditation, healing therapies and deeply nourishing experiences, every part of this retreat is here to create memories and connections that last long after you return home.
It is not trying to be glossy. It is warm, real, a little adventurous, and held by the kind of place that soon begins to feel like home.
Retreat Highlights
Your 30-day adventure includes

The Journey North
Gently rocked to sleep as Thailand
carries you north
After arriving in Bangkok, we transfer to the main train station and journey north by overnight sleeper train to Nong Khai, a relaxed riverside town rich in culture, spirituality and local charm.
Bedding down in the AC sleeper compartments feels a little like being at a sleepover after a big day in the air. Sleep comes easily as the train rocks through the night and the busy world begins to fall away.
There is nothing quite like waking to the sun rising through the window as the train pulls into Nong Khai. By the time you arrive, the retreat has already begun—not in a studio or schedule, but in the simple act of letting Thailand carry you there.
The Magic of Nong Khai
A riverside town where the Mekong flows and time softens
Nestled on the banks of the Mekong River in northeastern Thailand, Nong Khai is a substantial, vibrant riverside town and gateway to Laos via the Friendship Bridge. Our retreat unfolds in a peaceful and enchanting corner that has long attracted yogis, healers and seekers from around the world.

Our Little Soi
Our charming Soi leads to the promenade beside the Mekong and is home to Mut Mee Guesthouse, Pantrix for yoga and Reiki, and the Hornbill Bookshop/café where Aey will share Thai cooking demonstrations. It is all within a gentle stroll.
Markets & Local Culture
The markets are filled with colour, textiles, handcrafted goods, spices, fresh produce and street food. Sadej Market is open seven days a week, and Friday and Saturday nights bring street food, music, dancing and life along the riverfront.
Temple Mornings
Located beside a Buddhist temple, it is not uncommon to wake to the chanting of the monks or end the day in the same way. There are hidden cafés, local temples, riverside festivals and the extraordinary Sculpture Park to wander through.
Mut Mee Guesthouse
An oasis on the
banks of the Mekong
Mut Mee is an oasis of small huts and rooms set in a tropical garden, literally on the banks of the Mekong River. This is where you can watch the river go by as you eat, laze on a hammock with a book, play on the swing, or simply snooze in your chair.
It is the kind of place where you might strike up a conversation with a fellow traveller from another country and an entirely different walk of life. The garden has hammocks, squirrels in the trees and Dolly the resident Retriever, who seems to know exactly when someone needs a gentle hello.
Our private building sits amidst the garden and directly overlooks the Mekong. The rooms are comfortable and individual, with private bathrooms, AC and fan, and small practical touches that make three weeks here feel settled rather than staged.

Pantrix
Pancho and Beatrix have walked
the path for decades

Pancho
Yoga Teacher & Health Guide
Pantrix comes from the names of the two founding teachers, Pancho and Beatrix. They have studied yoga for over 35 years and are deeply committed to their own sadhana, while sharing the teachings in a way that is accessible to anyone.
Pancho brings astounding knowledge of how the body works, traditional healing wisdom and the latest scientific research into practical diet and lifestyle suggestions. He also plays a mean bass guitar, which tells you something about the spirit of the place.

Beatrix
Reiki Master & Astrologist
Beatrix is the resident Reiki Master and Astrologist. Her work is quiet, deep and beautifully held, with the Reiki 1 course based on a time-honoured system of ritualised initiation.
The course prepares you to channel Reiki healing energy for self healing and one-to-one sharing. She also offers an Evolutionary Astrology reading, a written chart and audio copy that can become a generous tool for understanding where you have come from and where you are moving in this life.
Your Retreat Itinerary
The shape of your
Thailand chapter
The retreat has a clear rhythm while still leaving room for Thailand to be Thailand. The order may vary slightly, but the full experience remains intact.
Arrive & Travel North
We arrive in Bangkok, transfer to the main train station and take the overnight express train to Nong Khai. The adventure begins with that soft, slightly surreal feeling of being carried into another rhythm.
Local Immersion
Time to gently settle into the Thai lifestyle: neighbourhood orientation, sightseeing, markets, cafés, restaurants, your push bike, temple visits, massage and slow wandering along the Mekong.
7 Day Yoga Course
The Pantrix yoga immersion runs morning and afternoon, with practice, teaching and space for real growth physically, emotionally and spiritually. Sessions may go a tad over, so don’t watch the clock.
Reiki & Wellness
The Reiki Part 1 course unfolds over four days, with time for practice, meditation, massage, energy work and quiet integration.
Markets, Temples & Free Exploration
A looser chapter for local markets, riverside festivals, hidden cafés, the Sculpture Park, traditional Thai massage and whatever your own curiosity wants to follow.
Barn Suan Sanctuary
We move into the Ayurveda and meditation immersion: simple huts, mung dhal, morning yoga, pranayama, measured speech, karma yoga and deep rest in the garden.
Return Travel
We begin the journey home carrying the experience with us—lighter, inspired and renewed. The order may vary slightly, while still holding the full retreat experience.

What Fills Your Days
Practices, local life & genuine encounters
The first week gives you time to gently settle into the Thai lifestyle, explore the neighbourhood, connect with the local community and embrace the slower pace of life.
7 Day Yoga Course
The Pantrix yoga course runs from 7-10am and 3-6pm daily, although the sessions have been known to go a tad over, so don’t watch the clock. Kaz completed this course herself and believes anyone can benefit, whether you have done years of yoga or none at all.
Reiki Level 1 Course
Spread over four days, Reiki 1 is a simple, accessible and time-honoured initiation into channeling healing energy for yourself and one-to-one sharing. There will be time to practise, absorb and let it settle.
Meditation & Measured Speech
There will be morning practices, afternoon meditations and quieter days where stillness becomes part of the learning. At Barn Suan, mouna—measured speech—helps create space for reflection without making it feel severe or performative.
Thai Massage & Healing
Traditional Thai massage and energy treatments are woven through the retreat. These sessions are deep, beautiful and powerful when combined with the yoga, Reiki, astrology and the simple rhythm of being in Thailand.
Markets & Push Bike Wanders
You will have your own push bike for exploring at your leisure. There are organic markets five minutes away, Sadej Market open seven days a week, hidden cafés, local artisan products and Friday and Saturday night street food along the river.
Thai Cooking Demonstrations
Aey from Hornbill Bookshop/café will provide Thai cooking demonstrations, and meals on orientation and sightseeing days are part of the experience. This is food in context: local, practical, generous and connected to the community around us.
Temples, Festivals & Sculpture Park
You will visit temples, riverside festivals and Nong Khai’s extraordinary Sculpture Park, with giant sculptures inspired by Buddhist and Hindu mythology. It is the kind of place that stays in your imagination long after you leave.
Time to Simply Be
There is also time to relax, wander, snooze in a chair, read in a hammock, talk to fellow travellers or do very little at all. The point is not to fill every moment, but to let the experience work on you gently.
Barn Suan Sanctuary
A secluded retreat for
the creative soul
The final component is an Ayurveda and meditation immersion at Barn Suan Sanctuary on the outskirts of Nong Khai. Don and Jeem have created what they describe as “a secluded retreat for friends and like-minded people… a meditative space for the creative soul.”
Small traditional huts, some a little more rustic than others, are hidden within a tropical garden. An infinity-shaped path winds through the grounds for walking meditation, with little spaces for sitting in stillness scattered throughout the garden.
This part of the retreat is about slowing down, reflecting and integrating everything experienced during the previous weeks. It is a time to digest, to practise what you want to take home with you, and to rest deeply without needing to explain yourself.

Food & Meal Rhythm
Eat simply,
locally and well
Top of the “where to eat” list is the Mut Mee Guesthouse kitchen, open from 7am to 9pm with Thai and Western dishes. Each room has a little book: order your meal, write it down, and settle the bill at the end of your stay.
A basic Pad Thai is around $3, and it takes effort to spend more than $15 a day on food. Favourite vegetarian restaurants are a short bike ride away, affiliated with local Buddhist temples, with generous smiles and enough food for lunch and dinner.
Five minutes away is an organic Green Market for limes, ginger, bananas, papaya, pineapple, watermelon and avocadoes. At Barn Suan, meals become very simple around a Magical Mung Cleanse, with sprouted mung dhal, shared cooking and quiet nourishment.
Connection & Community
Beautiful moments with incredible women

This retreat is about more than wellness. It is about personal growth, learning and awareness, experiencing another culture, and creating space for yourself in the company of women who are doing the same.
It is about shared meals, markets, temple mornings, quiet walks, unexpected laughter and returning home feeling lighter, inspired and renewed. Not polished perfection—just real moments that stay with you.

A Personal Invitation
A note from Kaz
Hi, my name is Kaz.
It is with an open heart that I am very excited to be inviting a small group of women to join me in Thailand in November for a deeply nourishing 30-day adventure.
Earlier this year I was blessed to experience this retreat myself, and it touched me in ways I cannot fully express, awakening a deep inner transformation. I returned home knowing that I was destined to share this sacred experience with others.
At 63, my path has been richly woven with a love of travel, especially Asia, holistic wellbeing, spirituality and personal evolution. I trained with Satyananda Yoga in 2016 doing my teaching diploma, travelled to India on yoga pilgrimages, and have done Ayurvedic retreats in Sri Lanka.
I have also spent over 30 years as a nurse devoted to caring for others with compassion and presence. This retreat comes from that same place—not from wanting to create a commercial luxury experience, but from wanting to share something real, human, and deeply restorative.
I would love you to join me for this unforgettable Thailand experience: to explore, rejuvenate and reset; to experience another culture; to share beautiful moments with incredible women; and to return home feeling lighter, inspired and renewed.
With an open heart,
Kaz Morrow
